The ECO DESIGN Octagonal Yurt building is produced as a kit of Plans, Specifications and Materials Schedules.

The Yurt Designs employ Passive Solar Principles to orientate the house on the site to make the most of the winter sun and reduce the intensity of the summer sun.

The Central Yurt Roof is freestanding without a central post support. At the top of the Roof is a 3000mm (10ft) diameter Cupola which optimises the ventilation and air flow in the Yurt.

The Octagonal shape, which is practically round, is the simplest shape for modern construction methods and materials and a roundhouse Yurt designs and produces an efficient and aesthetically pleasing space.
